Town Hub shows what is happening in Liberal, Kansas and the towns around it. It is made in Liberal by Corrupt Solutions. This page says what the app keeps, what it never does, and the choices you have, in plain words.
Just browsing
- A device id. Your phone makes a random id the first time you open Town Hub, so your Interested marks, follows and reminders stay yours. It is not your name, your number or your email.
- Your town, language and interests. The town you pick, the language you read in and the interests you chose are kept on your phone (and on your account, if you have one: see below) and the town and language are sent with each request so the list is right for you. “Use my location” sends your position once to find the nearest town and keeps only the town’s name, never coordinates.
- Opening Town Hub in Safari or Chrome. Facebook’s and Instagram’s own browsers can’t install Town Hub. When you tap “Open in Safari” (or Chrome), or an iPhone shows you how to add Town Hub to your Home Screen, we keep a one-time pass for up to 10 minutes (an hour for the Home Screen) with this phone’s Town Hub id, your account if you’re signed in, and your town, language and interests, so the other browser (or the Home Screen app) picks up where you were. It works once and is deleted when used or expired.
- Whether this phone has the app. When Town Hub opens from your Home Screen, we note the first and latest day it did, under this phone’s Town Hub id, so Safari or Chrome on the same phone doesn’t ask you to install it again.
- What you hide and your area. Events you hide and the area you pick (how many miles, towns added or left out) are kept on your phone only. A hide is counted like any other tap (which event), never with your name.
- What is tapped. We count opens, views, shares, marks and the like per device, to see what people use, and where an open came from (a QR code, a shared link, Facebook): only the site’s name, never the page. No names, no addresses.
- Your connection. Your network address is used only as a one‑way hash to apply daily limits (how many codes or posts one connection can ask for). It is never stored as is.
- Cookies. None for browsing. The only cookie is your sign‑in, below. No ad networks, no trackers, no Facebook pixel.
Reminders
If you turn reminders on, your browser gives Town Hub a push subscription (an address only your phone can read). We keep it with your town and language, and use it for reminders you asked for, news from things you follow, “This weekend” every Thursday evening (you can turn it off), and at most one nudge a week. Never between 11 pm and 6 am, at most 4 a day. Turn it off in the app or in your phone’s settings; subscriptions that stop answering are removed.
An account
You never need one to look around, save events or turn on reminders. You need one to post, to rate an event, or to list or message a service, and may want one to keep your marks, town and interests on every phone. It is your email and a 6‑digit code we send to it. No password.
- Codes last 10 minutes and 5 tries. Codes and sign‑in tokens are stored only as hashes.
- Your town, interests and language go on the account when you create one or sign in (the town by name only, never a location; the interests are the fixed kinds you tapped). A phone that signs in later gets them back instead of asking again, and picking another town or language on any signed‑in phone updates them. Deleting your account deletes them.
- The Thursday email (“This weekend”) goes only to accounts that turn it on, with the town and language you chose. Every one has a one‑tap unsubscribe link.
- Your sign‑in is a cookie on this site only. You stay signed in on that phone for about a year unless you sign out.
- On screen your email is masked (a•••@e•••.com).
- Before a first post we ask your name, address and occupation. They are shown only to the Town Hub owner when checking that first post, and never to the public. The owner also gets a short email per new post (its title and link) and sees the poster’s email on the review screen.
What you post
- Events are public: title, date, place, price, the photo, the link. Your name is not on them. Nothing about who posted is ever public.
- You can edit or delete your posts any time (Account → Your posts). Deleting your account takes your posts down and removes your email.
- Interested, Going, ratings and reports show counts, never who. A rating needs an account (one per person); who rated is seen only by the Town Hub owner, for the counts, never by the organizer, a business or the public.
- A business page shows how its past events were rated and how many people recommend it, as counts. Recommending needs an account (one per person, with up to three set words like "Fair prices", never your own text); who recommended is seen only by the Town Hub owner, never by the business or the public, and goes away with your account.
- A flyer photo is sent to Google’s Gemini service to read the text off it, then kept and shown on the event. It is tied to the event, not to you in public, and goes when the event does.
- A service listing is public: what you do, your town, how far you go, the price hint, the photo, the link. Your phone number shows only if you turn it on. The account behind a listing never shows.
- A Message about a listing is emailed to its owner from Town Hub with the sender’s email to reply to. The sender sees the owner’s email only if the owner answers. We keep a count that a message was sent, not what it said.
- Feedback (Send feedback) goes only to the Town Hub owner: what you wrote, Bug or Idea, and what the app adds to help fix things (the app version, the language, Home Screen app or browser, the screen size and the browser’s name). Signed in, the owner also sees which account sent it. Deleting your account leaves it without a name.
- Town Hub doesn’t check licenses or vouch for anyone listed.
- A business page is public by the business’s choice: name, kind, about, address, phone, website, Facebook page, hours, photo. The account behind it never is.
- Business questions (optional, right after making a business page, or later from the page or Account): what kind of business it is, where it advertises, who runs its website, where it could use help (and a note), and whether Town Hub may contact you about that help. Only the Town Hub owner (Corrupt Solutions) sees the answers, to offer its own web and tech help or point you to another local business that can help. They are never public, never on the business page, and never shown to other businesses. We contact you about them only if you check that box. Skip them, or change them any time; deleting your account deletes them. When you answer, the owner gets an email with your answers (and your account email only if you checked the box), and keeps a private note of whether Town Hub has been in touch; that note is never shown to anyone else and goes when your account does.
Family Hub
Only when you tap “Family Hub” on an event, Town Hub sends your account email to Family Hub (also by Corrupt Solutions) to find your household, and the event’s details to put on your family’s calendar. Nothing goes there otherwise.
Paying (businesses)
When someone pays for a sponsored day, or a business for the Business plan, Stripe takes the payment: its form opens inside the app (Stripe’s script loads from js.stripe.com only then) or on Stripe’s own page. Town Hub keeps Stripe’s customer and payment ids, what was bought, the amount and the dates, never card numbers. Stripe has its own privacy policy.
Where it runs
Town Hub runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, photos, the emails that carry your codes). The calendars it reads are public. Directions open Apple Maps or Google Maps, which have their own policies. We do not sell or rent anything about you.
Your choices
- Delete your account: Account → Delete account. Your posts come down and your email is removed.
- Reminders off: in the app’s footer, or your phone’s notification settings.
- Hidden events back: Your area (tap your town at the top) → Show again.
- A service listing down: open it → Remove. Deleting your account removes all of yours.
- Business questions: your business page → Your answers (or Account → Business help). Uncheck the contact box, or clear the answers and save.
- A fresh start: clear this site’s data in your browser and your device id is gone with it.
Children
Town Hub is for everyone in town and is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes and questions
When the app changes, this page changes with it; the date at the top says when. Questions go to Corrupt Solutions at corrupt.solutions. The rules for using the app are in the terms of use.
This is the whole policy. There is no longer version.

- Tu pueblo, tu idioma y tus intereses.
Borrar tu cuenta quita tus publicaciones y elimina tu correo.
- Me interesa, Voy, calificaciones y reportes muestran cuentas, nunca quién.
Tus opciones
- Borrar tu cuenta: Cuenta → Borrar cuenta.
