Terms of use
Updated November 3, 2026
Town Hub is free: a place to see what’s happening in Liberal, Kansas and the towns around it, and who does what around here. It is made in Liberal by Corrupt Solutions. By using it you agree to these rules, in plain words. How we handle your information is on the privacy page.
Events you post
- Post public events and sign-ups in our area: things anyone can go to, or find out about. Not private parties or invitations.
- Keep it true: the right date, place and price. Update it or take it down if it changes or is canceled.
- Only post a flyer or photo you have the right to share. Most flyers are made to be shared; someone else’s artwork or photo may not be.
- Not allowed: anything illegal, hateful, threatening or sexual; scams; spam; ads for things that aren’t events (those go in Services); posts about a private person.
- Your first posts wait for a quick check. We can edit a category or a typo, and take down anything that breaks these rules.
Ratings
- Rate only what you went to, honestly. One rating per person, about the event, not about people.
- Ratings are anonymous to everyone but Town Hub’s owner, who sees who rated only to keep the counts honest.
- Nobody can pay to remove or hide a rating, and we never post or buy fake ones. A rating comes down only for breaking these rules, the same way for everyone.
Services
- Listings are written by the people and businesses themselves. Town Hub doesn’t check licenses, insurance, prices or work, and doesn’t vouch for anyone listed. Any deal is between you and them; ask questions and check references as you would anywhere.
- Some listings were added by Town Hub from public information (a business’s own website, sign or page) and say so. Their business can claim them (“Is this yours?”) or ask us to take them down.
- To list a service you must be 18 or older. A parent can list a teen’s work under the parent’s account.
- List only real services you offer here, honestly described. Not allowed: adult services, weapons, drugs, gambling, payday or title loans, pyramid or multi-level recruiting, anything illegal in Kansas, and businesses with no local presence.
- A basic listing is free. Paid spots, when they come, are always labeled “Featured”. Money never buys ratings or the order of the free listings.
Messages
- A Message to a listing is emailed to its owner with your email to reply to. Use it to ask about their service, not to sell, spam or harass.
- We can limit or stop an account that misuses Messages.
Paid spots
Anyone with an account can pay to sponsor an upcoming event, to give a business or a community event a hand: $10 for each date, for its own day, or a week or a month of the dates of an event that repeats or runs several days (a date that already has a sponsor is skipped, not charged). You can show a name on the event’s page (“Sponsored by …”) or none; it has to be a name, not an ad or a link. The business behind the event is told who sponsored it, by that name or as “Someone”. Dates still to come are refunded if the event is deleted.
Joining is free. Once Town Hub has checked a business’s page, it can pay to sponsor one of its events for that event’s day, or start the Business plan (monthly, sponsored days included). A sponsored event is always labeled Sponsored and shows first in its day: one sponsored event a day, and at most one Town Hub pick beside it (Town Hub’s own free choice, labeled Town Hub pick, below the sponsored one; paying for a picked event makes it Sponsored); money never buys ratings, Interested or Going counts, Trending, or reminders to people who don’t follow you. Payments are handled by Stripe (Town Hub never sees your card), in US dollars. The Business plan renews each month until you cancel it in Billing and receipts; it then runs to the end of the month you paid for. A sponsored day that hasn’t come yet is refunded if you delete the event or Town Hub takes your page down. Town Hub can refuse or remove a paid spot that breaks these terms. Charges show on your statement as Corrupt Solutions (Town Hub).
Your posts stay yours
You keep what you post. You let Town Hub show it in the app, in shared links, in calendar feeds and in reminders and roundups, translate it between English and Spanish, and resize or crop photos to fit. That permission ends when you delete the post, except where it was already shared.
Takedowns and copyright
If something on Town Hub is yours and was posted without your OK, or is wrong about you, tap Report on it or write to us through corrupt.solutions with what it is, where it is on Town Hub, and how to reach you. For a copyright notice, also say that you own it (or act for the owner) and believe in good faith the use isn’t allowed. We take things down quickly and tell the poster.
Accounts
- An account is your email and a code we send to it. Keep your email yours; anything done from your signed-in phone counts as you.
- We can suspend an account that keeps breaking these rules. You can delete yours any time: Account → Delete account.
No guarantees
Events change and get canceled; check with the organizer before you go. Town Hub is provided as it is, and may be down or wrong at times. As far as the law allows, Corrupt Solutions isn’t responsible for events, services, deals between people, or losses from using the app. Kansas law applies.
Changes and questions
When the app changes, these terms may change with it; the date at the top says when, and big changes will be announced in the app. Questions go to Corrupt Solutions at corrupt.solutions.
